The Checkpoint process was well worth my time. It’s provoked a lot of thought about how I work with the team. I took some practical suggestions on getting better performance from direct reports as well as working more effectively with people who don’t report to me. Michael was willing to challenge me to highlight places where my assumptions are harming my team, yet it was done in a respectful and educational way. I’m sure I’ll improve as a leader and as a team player from more time with Michael.
